TJ Wicks is a singer songwriter that grew up in Chickasha Oklahoma where he learned to play guitar under Mr. Joe Settlemites. It was here he built his love of Red Dirt,Western Swing Texas Country and Blues music with influences from Freddy King, Jason Boland, Bob Wills, Turnpike Troubadours, Garth Brooks, and many more. It was here when he decided to do what he loves for a living and follow his dreams becoming a singer-songwritwriter.He has toured extensively in Oklahoma and texas He currently lives in northeast Oklahoma. He loves “being the worlds worst ranch hand”when he is not touring. Between the prairie on which he was raised,working and playing in the bars on 6th street in Austin and exploring the ghost town of Terlingua Texas TJ loves preserving the history and lifestyle of the Wild West.
