TKR is a Dominican alternative rock band that has been a vital part of the country’s independent music scene since the early 2000s. Their 2005 album Inertia, featuring hits like “Alquimia,” “4:20 pm,” and “Origami,” catapulted them into local recognition and earned them a nomination at the 2006 Casandra Awards. In 2007, they followed up with the EP Lienzo, solidifying their status with a raw sound influenced by rock, grunge, and punk. Now, in 2024, TKR is back, re-energized and ready to make their mark again with new music and an electrifying presence on stage.
