Born in Linköping, Sweden with a father and a brother playing guitar Tobias Grim started playing guitar at a young age. Starting out in rock and funk bands Tobias found his way into jazz through jazzfusion. Tobias got his experience in jazz playing local jazzfestivals and gigs in the Gothenburg area and he received the Albin Hagström scholarship for guitarist 2012. 2014 he released his first album as a leader: Tobias Grim : Brazil lines featuring : Anders Kjellberg - drums Karolina Vucidolac-vocals and Magnus Bergström bas. Tobias is today playing modern jazz ,blues,african music, fusion and Brazilian music in different settings like Kakafoni, Derupeto and Tobias Grim quartet
