Tobias Haug is a jazz saxophonist graduated from the University of Arts in Cologne, Germany. He has been a member of the German National Jazz Orchestra (Bundesjazzorchester) between 2018 and 2020 as a lead alto player. In 2021 he released his first album “Empty Streets” with his Quartet featuring Felix Langemann on piano, Luca Müller on bass and Felix Ambach on drums. In the same year they won second prize at “Sparda Jazz Award” in Dusseldorf. In October 2023 he released his first Quintet Album featuring Jakob Bänsch, Simon Seidl, Caris Hermes, Felix Ambach and Renis Mendoza on percussion. Tobias Haug is currently based in Zurich, Switzerland.
