Tobias Urban is a Manhattan-based singer, pianist, and songwriter whose music blends pop, soft rock, and jazz with heartfelt storytelling. Drawing inspiration from Billy Joel and Elton John, he creates piano-driven songs that capture emotion and nostalgia through timeless melodies.
He has performed at venues including Birdland, 54 Below, Green Room 42, Lincoln Center, Green Room 42, and Carnegie Hall, and currently serves as a live pianist at Sid Gold’s Request Room, the only live piano karaoke bar in New York City.
Tobias’s debut EP, First Language, was released in October 2025, following his single “Sunshining” (released December 2024). His cover of “Wait for Me” from Hadestown was featured on the musical’s official Instagram, and his work has also been recognized by Disney. Across TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms, Tobias has built a following of over 20,000 fans who connect with his blend of nostalgia, emotion, and modern pop storytelling.
