Tobinsco whose original name is Yusuf Oluwatobi (born 12 April 1995), is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, producer and fashion designer who is from Ibadan, Oyo state, born in Lagos and raised in Ogun state, the home of Nigerian music greats such as <a href="spotify:artist:5CG9X521RDFWCuAhlo6QoR" data-name="Fela Kuti">Fela Kuti</a> <a href="spotify:artist:6LRZTXWP7Ytxujepqoq21m" data-name="Dagrin">Dagrin</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:2LE8mP1xv4ZOZ9vJ9JKfOe" data-name="Adewale Ayuba">Adewale Ayuba</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:508KmjoFyijrHprjyRkrtv" data-name="Chief Commander Ebenezer Obey">Chief Commander Ebenezer Obey</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:0yk6h7Brq9MZqoYd3xnLN1" data-name="Haruna Ishola">Haruna Ishola</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:774XinAuSJ5UAid0N6BNrV" data-name="Sir Shina Peters">Sir Shina Peters</a> . He attended Fountain Nursery and primary school in Abeokuta, Ogun State. Nigerian International School, Cotonou and proceeded to EPS-La Cite University, Cotonou.
He surfaced on the internet as a blogger and social commentator giving opinion and hot takes on various but most importantly controversial issues and topics on Twitter where he has amassed a significant number of followers. He released his debut single <a href="spotify:album:3gG44hKpAevpgBobsxSDfq" data-name="Mr. Bouncer">Mr. Bouncer</a> in 2016 which gained airplay on major Nigerian radio stations across the nation and a Top Naija music award nomination for best foreign based Nigerian artiste that same year. His sound is best described as a distinct fusion of Afro Fuji, afroPop and Afrobeats.
