“tobiuo studio” is a production unit led by singer-songwriter Yoshinori Aoki (formerly of HARCO).

Featuring various guest artists, the project continuously explores the question:
“What could a completely new kind of J-pop sound like today?”

Through this ongoing exploration, tobiuo studio experiments with a wide range of musical approaches and expressions.

Most lyrics, composition, and arrangement are handled by Aoki himself. Depending on the track, collaborators include poet Masato Inami for lyrics, composer Hisayuki Yasuda for track production, and guitarist Daisuke Ishimoto.

The project also hopes to collaborate with international artists in the future.

The 1st single “Atarashii Hi” featured AATA, the 2nd single “Tomatta Jikan” featured Hayashi Aozora, and the 1st EP featured SaToA.

tobiuo studioは、シンガーソングライター・青木慶則（ex.HARCO）のプロデュースユニット。他アーティストをフィーチャーし、「かつてない、あたらしいJ-POPとは何か」を日々模索しながら、さまざまな試みを行なっている。作詞・作曲・編曲は青木慶則自身がおもに担当。楽曲により、作詞に歌人・伊波真人、トラックメイキングに作曲家・安田寿之、さらにギタリスト・石本大介も参加。先々は海外アーティストとの取り組みも視野に入れている。1st Single「あたらしい日」ではAATAを、2nd Single 「とまった時間」では林青空を、1stEPではSaToAをフィーチャー。
