Tohsca is a French-American pop singer and songwriter born in New York City. With her parents being from France and Brazil, she’s inherited these three cultures in her person and her music. In her early teens, she lived between Paris and NYC. In high school she started writing music to help a friend before eventually writing music on her own. At age 16, while modeling, she began writing herself.
Drawing from various influences, such as Indie-pop, Hip Hop, and UK dance music, her music blends elements of Bedroom pop, house, garage, pop, and Drum & Bass. Tohsca’s lyrical inspiration are Lana Del Rey, Lauryn Hill, Vanessa de Mata and Rihanna. She is also inspired by more emerging artists such as PinkPantheress and Beabadobee.
Tohsca was discovered at Berklee School of music by an a&r talent scout and she signed to independent record label Throne Music in May of 2023. Her First single Sippin’ is Out Now through Throne Music distributed by The Orchard (Sony Music)
