New York City's Toilet Boys originally formed in the late '90s as a backing band for performer Miss Guy. The crowd's response to the one-time show was so favorable that <a href="spotify:artist:2IBPIcSkvQZyoaVfoyZKE8">Guy</a> and friends -- guitarists <a href="spotify:artist:5JUYSPkis2Mk6HUbmMqk1m">Sean</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:0kcq5kipPmOmaVR02ECCOh">Rocket</a>, bassist Adam Vomit, and drummer Electric Eddie -- kept the lineup together and started recording songs together as the Toilet Boys. Their sound, a mix of '80s Sunset Strip pop-metal and '70s New York punk, was often punctuated by the band's live shows, where <a href="spotify:artist:2IBPIcSkvQZyoaVfoyZKE8">Guy</a> wore skimpy, Frederick's of Hollywood-style costumes and <a href="spotify:artist:5JUYSPkis2Mk6HUbmMqk1m">Sean</a>'s laser gun/flaming red pitchfork guitar shot sparks. The Toilet Boys released a number of picture discs and regular 7"s before their first full-length, Living Like a Millionaire, was released in 1998 on R.A.F.R.
