Tom Gill

Tom is a Salfordian singer-songwriter and award winning spoken word artist known for his raw performance, poetic heart and tongue in cheek lyricism.

He’s featured on eclectic stages from Lovebox & Latitude Festival to Ronnie Scott’s, spent 10 days in silence, and once stabbed Michael Fassbender (on the silver screen)


Developing his craft as a resident artist at Camden’s prestigious Roundhouse Tom was later crowned the UK's Poetry Slam Champion. His critically acclaimed solo show ‘Growing Pains’ enjoyed a sellout run at the Edinburgh Fringe before embarking on two UK tours. The multifaceted musical production later transferred to the Royal Exchange in Manchester.


Tom released his debut EP ‘Shake The Taste’ during lockdown 2021, written and recorded from various flats in Salford and London. With time to reflect on modern love and loss tracks including 'Right Wing Stunner' and 'Normal People' emerged. Toms latest release 'Soothes My Soul' is a jazz fused collaboration with multi skilled musician and producer Danny Short as part of the innovative ‘Before The Camera’ Project.

Tom is currently in writing mode.
