Tom Hamilton studied with John Downey, Thom Mason, and Robert Wykes. He plays piano and synthesizer and was the director of the Electronic Music/Recording Studio at Washington University from 1971 - 1980. He was the sound and music director at Innervision, St. Louis, MO. Producer Cooler in the Shade series in N.Y.C. He collaborated with the late photographer Ernst Haas (1983) did a live performance with Fritz Lang's classic film Metropolis (1978). He also created Ejector Room, an installation for videoed soloists and electronics (1992).
