Tom Ibarra

Tom Ibarra is a french guitarist and composer born in 1999. Tom has studied Jazz but his music is more influenced by pop, rock, electronic but also contemporary music (Radiohead, James Blake, Bon Iver, Son Lux, Jon Hopkins, Steve Reich...). Noticed at a very young age for his ability to create rich and dynamic compositions, as well as virtuosity and intricate hidden melodic lines, he as been performing with his band at beautiful festivals around the world like Saint-Emilion Jazz Festival, Jazz In Marciac, Stuttgart, Konsberg, Umbria, Nice, Lviv, Cheltenham, JZ festival in Shanghai and San Sebastian... and shared the stage with great stars as Marcus Miller, Didier Lockwood, Richard Bona, China Moses...

Regularly rewarded for his participation in the Jazz springboards: Sacem Prizes in 2013, 2014 and 2015, Young Talent Award Action Jazz 2016, Springboard of “Rives et Notes” in Oloron-Sainte-Marie in July 2017, Rising star jazz award 2017. Tom has been endorsed by prestigious brands Ibanez Guitars since 2015, DV Mark Amp since 2016 and Savarez since 2019.

Tom released 3 albums at the moment: "15" (2015), "Sparkling"(2018) featuring Micheal League from Snarky Puppy & Stephane Guillaume, and "Luma" (2021).
