London-based Tom Junior has been producing his own electronic music since childhood, after learning the piano and getting his first keyboard. Influences have ranged from the pure funk sounds of James Brown to electronic pioneer Gary Numan, and numerous electropop and house music producers of the 90s onwards. In the 90s he played keyboard in a band producing house music. He also took up drums for a number of years, but this ultimately came to an end to avoid confrontation with neighbours. Today, Tom writes and produces his own music which is often complemented with guest vocalists.
