Working out of the heartland of America, Omaha, Nebraska's Tom May hosts River City Folk, syndicated by American Public Radio to well over 200 stations. The TV version of the show is broadcast by Americana Cable and is this country's only televised folk music program. May himself is the epitome of the balladeer, singing his own songs and those of others with warmth, humor, and accessibility. He's performed with most of this continent's better-known folk musicians and across the world from Ireland to Hawaii and Alaska to the Caribbean islands. Tom is also an accomplished guitar and Irish pennywhistle player. ~ Allan Shaw, Rovi
