Tom Young, a musician, producer, and composer based in New Zealand, dedicated his formative years to writing and playing with various bands across the country. In 2015, he, along with a group of close friends, founded LEISURE. In the midst of touring with LEISURE and spending time with his family, Tom finds solace in his home studio, where he produces music for commercials and various artists and projects.
His solo project serves as a means for Tom to unravel his inner world. "There's something about sitting down with an acoustic guitar that tends to be quite confronting," says Tom. "Writing songs like that has always been a way for me to digest and assimilate the often vague clutter of emotions, doubts, and hopes hovering around my head at any given time."
