Tommi Crane

Being that significant balances are found among the heaviest of ideas, Tommi Crane explores an immersive set of emotive concepts through his works. He is a Japanese hip-hop artist that utilizes both the English and Japanese language to express his ideas, in harmony with unique and often ambiguous sounds. With a heavy hand in production, often producing and engineering his own songs, he aims to create a sound that is as true to the original concept as possible, from the beginning to end for each project. Crane's debut EP, released on December 11th 2019, is a collaborative project between him and co-producer Big Animal Theory, that aims to fuse abstract electronic sounds and the rhythms of hip-hop to create a futuristic, yet raw sound. Tommi Crane's debut album "from a lockless cage" which released on October 7th, 2020, is a cinematic project that tells stories of growth and accomplishment, while also struggling personally to overcome obstacles.
Tommi Crane also works in close collaboration with rapper Wez Atlas, R&B singer Michel Ko, and producer and indie artist VivaOla.

リリックのコンセプトを先に作り、そこからインスパイアしたビートを作るというユニークなスタイルで活動をしている。


2019年12月11日にリリースされた初EP「Crane Theory」は「今のHIP HOPにはまだ無い新しい音を作る」というテーマのもと、
友人であるプロデューサーのBig Animal Theoryと共同で制作され、話題となった。


ラッパーのWez AtlasやR＆BシンガーのMichel Koらと共にクリエイティブグループ「Solgasa」も結成。
アジアと世界の音楽・アートを融合させることを目標に活動をスタートさせている。
