Tommy Fredvang is a singer/songwriter and producer from Stavanger, Norway.
He first rose to prominence after participating in X-factor in 2009, and he further established himself by releasing his debut album "<a href="spotify:album:1576ydOnwQzqU8z3f2bhiQ" data-name="From Now On">From Now On</a>" the following year, as well as the Norwegian EP "<a href="spotify:album:7ypZY7dLIousUlp2xDIycT" data-name="Aldri for seint">Aldri for seint</a>" 2014.
Fredvang is recognized for both his solo career and the success of the quartet "<a href="spotify:artist:4tJ6n38cpgqKuzjSX24BJA" data-name="Stavangerkameratene">Stavangerkameratene</a>" which is one of Norway's most streamed bands in which he is one of four vocalists. In recent years he is also to be found touring with “Vi elsker ABBA”- a production with over 170 sold out shows all over Norway.
September 2020, Tommy released his first solo album in Norwegian, "<a href="spotify:album:63fe5sibiRFwYrQCtXWGbD" data-name="Har deg på hjernen">Har deg på hjernen</a>" which included the single "Stå i ro”. According to Gramo (Norwegian royalty collection agency) the single was the fourth most played Norwegian-language song on the radio in 2020.
November 2022, he released his third album, the second in Norwegian, "<a href="spotify:album:3bM61dTIX7K8wgc9q71yP2" data-name="Våken">Våken</a>".
In advance of the album, Fredvang released three singles: "Det som knuse et hjerta", "Lega med ild", and "Dagar som dette". Together, these songs have already reached over 4,500 airplays on Norwegian radio. Tommy also released a Christmas single "Gå ikkje forbi" in November 2022. The song is a bonus track on the album release, and is a Norwegian translation of the Irish folk tune "Rop tú mo baile", which <a href="spotify:artist:3fA5zBQWEa0uzYo43SvXaj" data-name="Peter Jöback">Peter Jöback</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:2jaOpr7Go1avixlg1lfJOb" data-name="Sissel">Sissel</a> Kyrkjebø released in Swedish in 2003.
