TOMMY

TOMMY is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. Born in Chicago, Illinois he started his official career in 2017 with his debut release single “What I Need”. Inspired by his mother who recorded commercials for Chicago's 107.5 WGCI and his father who was a local Chicago drummer TOMMY developed his love of music at a very young age.


In 2010 he would explore his love for music from the artist perspective no longer being just a listener but a new songwriter. He would begin writing his 1st song his sophomore year of high school where he recorded his first track entitled “Inner Freak” followed by “Favorite Song” both featuring his high school classmate and friend. Shortly after he would catch the eye of young lady who would inspire the attempt at his first full LP entitled “The Heart of Diamond” a love story about falling in love that would ultimately end in heartbreak. The project was produced by Kris "Kajun" Johnson, however the project would be ended just 5 songs into production.


Since starting his career as an artist TOMMY has been inspired and influenced by his cities culture and industry artist such as Drake, Bryson Tiller, Chance The Rapper, Kanye West, Tink, Dreezy, Chris Brown, Ne-Yo, Trey Songz, Michael Jackson, Prince, Stevie Wonder, amongst many more stars! Currently TOMMY has released several singles and an album released through a joint partnership with Monolog Records entitled "Last Hope" which is available now for purchase and streaming everywhere!
