Tomoko Nia （ともこにあ）
Japanese singer, songwriter, and producer.
Formed the duo orange pekoe with Kazuma Fujimoto under the name Tomoko Nagashima.
In 2014, released her first solo album NIA, recorded in Brooklyn, NY in 2012, under the name Nia. The album was co-produced by Takuya Kuroda and released by King Records/Atlanta Record (US).
After relocating to the United States (New York and Los Angeles) in 2016, she returned to Japan in 2019 and began fully producing her own solo work.
In 2024, she released the EP UCHI under the name Tomoko Nia. She single-handedly handled every aspect of production, including singing, songwriting, composing, beat-making, playing all instruments, and designing the CD jacket.
