With his intriguing mixture of low-key beats, quirky samples, and unusual live instrumentation, Finnish producer Tomppabeats creates tracks that are difficult to define, but easy on the ears. A native of Helsinki, Tomi "Tomppabeats" Lahtinen began making music in his teens, citing the late Japanese DJ/producer <a href="spotify:artist:3Rq3YOF9YG9YfCWD4D56RZ">Nujabes</a> as a major inspiration. Rising quickly on the Vine platform, he found viral success with his whimsical tracks which he eventually compiled into the 37-track Harbor LP in the summer of 2016.
