Tonia Cestari

Tonia Cestari is an italian pop–rock songwriter. She started writing and playing music when she was 16. She got a Master Degree in History of Music and Performing Art at University of Salerno and two Erasmus: one at Universitaet Salzburg (AT) in 2012 and one at Hochschule der Medien (Stuttgart, DE) in 2015. Here the best experience of her life took place: Tonia performed “Smile” by Charlie Chaplin on the stage with Bobby Mc Ferrin and Chick Corea. In 2014 she published her first song “Capate nel muro”. In the same year MTV chose her for a workshop. She founded a band and played in a lot of important festivals and TV shows (Meeting del mare, Casa Sanremo, Roxybar di Red Ronnie, Tour Music Fest etc.) Tonia Cestari won some prices such as Premio Mogol at Festival Nuova Musica Italiana, Targa fans Club at Premio Pierangelo Bertoli, Miglior Cover Festival Ugo Calise, 2019)
In 2016 she got a full scolarship fot the CET - Mogol's songwriting School, the best songwriting school in Italy. In december 2019 Tonia Cestari published her first album “Senza destinazione” and started her presentation tour from 2020 with her full band.

Tonia Cestari, classe '90, laureata in Scienze dello spettacolo all'Università di Salerno, all'età di sedici anni inizia a suonare la chitarra e a scrivere canzoni.
