Toniboi is a solo project headed by songwriter/jack-of-all-trades musician Antonio Baiani (Pull My Finger & Indoor Kids). Inspired by extremely deep-cut emo and indie artists from around the world, Toniboi's vision is to deliver honest and concise lyrics through a highly-dynamic musical medium.
Rather than lingering on obscure ideas, each song is focused. Toniboi's songwriting tackles a wide range of problems that anyone can relate to. The melodies and weight of the subjects are somber, with a repeating sense of breaking free.
Operating out of Atlantic Canada, being geographically distant from his greatest influences, Toniboi seeks to breathe new life in the local music scene. He hopes that other songwriters in the area will rise and feel encouraged to create music that feels more personal, with more lyrical fidelity and trend-breaking ideas.
