Tonion is the main artist name of cellist, producer, composer & arranger Tim Binder.
Having started playing the cello at the age of four, Tim discovered that music was going to be his favorite life language. He also began playing the piano, joined several orchestras and chamber music ensembles, participating at competitions and concert tours throughout the EU, the US, Japan and Australia and eventually earned a degree in both Music and English.
During his time at university, Tim fostered his musical interests outside of his classical upbringing, becoming heavily obsessed with mid-twentieth century movements, jazz and hip-hop.
