Tony Crizzy is an independent recording artist, producer, and audio engineer born and raised in Philadelphia, Pa. A dedicated student to the Art, Tony remains true to his hip-hop and Soul roots, combining high levels of hip-hop lyricism with soulful vocals into every production, striving for musical perfection in his own way. Mixing musical elements from genres such as New Jack Swing, Funk, Soul/R&B and other popular sounds of today, Tony has a unique approach to creating music. He incorporates hard-hitting hip-hop drums, making it hard to resist the urge to nod along and get into the vibe, alongside melodies with musical chords that purposefully trigger an authentic emotional response, thus captivating the ears of his listeners. For well over a decade, Tony has been perfecting his craft to become an elite songwriter and composer. He draws inspiration from the works of musical icons like the late great Prince, Michael Jackson, Marvin Gaye, and Stevie Wonder. While hip-hop’s heavy hitters like Nas, Black Thought, Mos Def, Crooked I, Lupe Fiasco, and Canibus, to name just a few plays a role in shaping his rap style.
