Born January 24th in Vienna, Austria, TØNY, is an Austrian pop singer. After gaining attention from self-released music on social media platforms, for her release ‘Dangerous Liaison’ and ‘Sorbet’, she released her latest EP, High Hopes this year. TØNY released her debut EP, ‘Dangerous Liaison’ in 2021, which mainly gained her popularity in Austria. However, in 2022 she released ‘Angels and Devils’ which helped her gain a more international audience, as ‘Angels and Devils’, along her other releases (Dangerous Liaison, Sorbet, High Hopes) became popular on Spotify. Her latest tracks, ‘High Hopes’ and ‘Angels and devils’ consist of more "radio-friendly" music, compared to her previous release ‘Sorbet’. Her current release ‘High Hopes’, moved away from her previous sound in favor of a more electronic sound; described by TØNY as “Music I made, to listen to on the highway”, it was produced by JanEric and herself. TØNY is noted for her distinctive singing voice.
