HELLO
We are an indie/alternative rock band from Port Elizabeth, South Africa. Our music is driven by thought provoking lyrics and a dynamic sound, which has developed through the influence of various genres of music through the years.
INFLUENCE
There are so many bands that deserve a mention, but if we have to get down to the few who have played the biggest roles in our development, it would be a travesty not to mention Death Cab for a Cutie and Manchester Orchestra, both pivotal in the development of our songwriting. Some South African bands that have impacted us are Zebra and Giraffe and Short Straw.
MEET THE CHIEFS
Our chiefdom is led by Emile Naidu (singer/songwriter/guitar) and supported by Rob Brown (lead guitar), Iain Maughan-Brown (bass), Philip Winfield (keys/synth) and Jarryd Steele (drums/vocals).
