In 2012, Todd Kerns, Brent Fitz, and Cory Churko took time out of their busy schedules (playing with Slash & Kelly Clarkson) to play a charity event in Winnipeg, Canada. They themed the night to play only Canadian Classic Rock. The setlist was comprised of artists like Streetheart, Queen City Kids, Kim Mitchell, Loverboy, Saga, Platinum Blonde, Harlequin and Aldo Nova.
Next Toque put together a record to celebrate the best in Canadian Music. The debut "GIVE'R" was released in late 2016, covering song by all their fav's.
2017 they hit the road, where there's a mystique to the live performances, as you never know who may be on stage with TOQUE. Some gigs included full sets with iconic bassist "Spider" (Streetheart, Tom Cochrane, Loverboy), & appearances from members of Loverboy, Toronto, Headpins, & Queen City Kids.
Toque's set-lists are always moving through all kinds of Canadian Classic Rock.
2019 saw the release of "NEVER ENOUGH" their first Original song, along with a stack of Canadian gems from Rush, Alanis Morissette, Tom Cochrane, and more.
That Winter Toque played as the House band for the NHL's "Heritage Classic" game in Regina.
2 More Originals continue to Roll out, 2021's "Up To You", then in 2022 Toque released "Can't Stop It".
More Shows like the Monsters of Rock in Tennessee, plus a return to the CFL Grey Cup Party in Regina.
2023 will have more new songs, and shows too.
