Born Klaudjo Dhespo in 1994 and raised in Heraklion, Crete, TOQUEL began making music at the age of 12. What started as an independent journey through the Greek underground scene developed into one of the most successful and distinctive careers of his generation.

In 2018, TOQUEL entered a new era, signing with Minos EMI, a Universal Music Company. That same year, he released 777, the diamond-certified album that became a defining moment in his career and produced some of his most streamed tracks, including Business, Sandra, Skoni and Beverly Hills.
