Torchbearer is an unsigned metal band formed in South Wales in 2016 by Blowgoat guitarist Ollie Gould and bassist Mohannad Bashir. Sol Radley, drummer of Million Moons and ex-frontman of I Fight Bears Dan Trigga joined in 2023 completing the current line up.

With influences ranging from Every Time I Die to Pantera Torchbearer combine in-your-face riffs, vicious vocals and heavy melody to create a distinctive sound. This sound is captured on the band’s 3 EPs and studio album 'Solace' produced by Charlie Wilson (TRC) out of Monolith Studios London.

Labels, major Artists and Festival Promoters have caught notice with Torchbearer previously invited to support Black Orchid Empire, Xentrix, Kill the Lights, Suicidal Angles etc. as well as appearing at Bloodstock Open Air 2023 and on the Earache Takeover at Boomtown Fair 2024.

Torchbearer have toured nationally and are known for their powerful live show which eschews gimmicks and technology in favour of full-throttle, from the heart, live energy.
