Toslow was a community in Newfoundland that was resettled in the mid 1960's. It means "to embrace the joy of taking it slow". It is a rather poetic name and it just sounded right for the name of our band and the slow relaxed style of the music. All songs on our debut album "Never Meant To Be" are original . "I Love You (Was What She Said", and "Novels We Read "were penned by Ron Masters with some minor editing by Kevin. "A Cup of Tea " is a co-write by Masters and Paddle. The remainder of the album was written by Kevin Paddle. Our debut album features vocal performances by Flemish vocalists Alvia and Alford J. who have in our opinion captured the intended vibe of the songs perfectly. We are grateful for their participation and hope to collaborate with them both again soon. We hope the listening public enjoys this album as much as we enjoyed making it.
