Towers and Trees has always been a heart-driven project - from their viral home-recorded single "Montreal," through the heady anthems of 2015’s "The West Coast" and the jubilant maturity of latest single "Head Down Heart Up." Every song is packed with an honesty and earnestness that is increasingly rare in this digital age.

In a way, the Canadian group’s sound reflects the rugged beauty of their Vancouver Island home. Charismatic songwriter and frontman Adrian Chalifour’s lyrics are steeped in stories and imagery from the Pacific Northwest, and lifted by the rich hooks and arrangements of bandmates Dave Zellinsky (lead guitar), Jesse Boland (drums) and Dave Arter (bass). The resulting sound is a heart-filled tour de force that bursts into life on stage, where their energetic live show has been described as “spectacular” (Exclaim.ca).

Recorded with acclaimed producer Ryan Worsley (Dear Rouge, Said The Whale), "Head Down Heart Up" marks a bold new chapter for the group and stands as an anthem for the overthinkers of the world; a reminder and challenge to turn the volume knob in your head down, and let your heart take the wheel every once in a while because it almost always knows where to go.
