Tr3 Dash

Tr3 Dash is the stage name of Tracey DeMan Davis II, a solo artist building his audience through biographical singles in a lyrical hip-hop style. Not new to the game, Tr3 Dash wiped his slate of earlier music and re-emerged with a crisp perspective focused on truth that feels refreshingly spontaneous and instinctive, which he aptly notes in the opening lines of ‘Won’t Fold’, “Bout to do this with a breeze–I’m just cool like that.” Such is his charming confidence and crafty wordplay served with matter-of-fact delivery.


Raised in Columbus, Ohio, Tr3 Dash first made noise in high school when a song he wrote spread around the school and was satisfyingly well-received. He followed this with another track, and the assurance set him on a path of passion and acknowledgment as a raw talent. Though his musical references are distinguishable to his own sound, predecessors DMX, Eminem, and Big Sean are inspirations.


Tr3 Dash’s music is all about relatability. His song ‘Y I K E S !’ is a deliberately simple anthem for cold-shouldering gossip, while his subsequent release ‘Won’t Fold’ is an ode to self-growth and overcoming life’s hardships. Sensuality steams from ‘Stay’, showcasing his knack for analogies and unapologetic, descriptive lyrics that paint the scene and dance on top of the beat. His nonconforming versatility transcends any one style or flow and seeing as he’s only released a handful of tracks thus far, the fun’s just beginning.
