Based in Fargo, ND with several member changes, Tracings began as an idea between vocalist, Kyle Richards, and guitarist, Dan Peltier, in 2011. The band was fully formed in 2012 and active until mid-2015. The band toured much of the US & Canada after their sophomore EP, Bloodlines & Anchors, which was recorded at Covenant Studios in Kansas City, MO with Joshua Barber (Producer for Norma Jean, Tech N9ne, etc.) and mastered by Brad Blackwood. The band has strong Christian roots and many of their lyrical themes stem from their personal faith, theology, and experiences.
