TrakBoss is a Chicago-based Artist, Music Producer, and DJ. Residing in a city that many regard as the birthplace of House Music, he was introduced to the genre at an early age through classics like Cajmere’s “Percolator” and “Follow Me” by Aly-Us. However, TrakBoss began his journey in music as a Hip-Hop Artist and Producer.
Ironically, it was Hip-Hop that would help things come full circle and reintroduce TrakBoss to House & Dance Music. After discovering French electronic music duo Daft Punk through the hit single “Stronger” by Kanye West, he decided to expand his horizons and aim his focus towards a renewed love for House Music.
In 2016, TrakBoss collaborated with Chicago singer and songwriter JaCour Da Kid for his first Dance record “All Night”. He released his solo debut Dance record “Should’ve Left You” in 2018.
Versatility and creativity are the foundation of his style of production. TrakBoss draws inspiration from many of his favorite artists and producers including Melé, Black Coffee, Josh Butler, & Mike Dunn. His discography consists of multiple sub-genres of House Music including Tech House (CJ’s House Trak, Move Ye Body), Afro House (Chance To Love You), and Techno (Lust).
Now, with an impressive catalogue of music and an ever-growing number of streams across Spotify and SoundCloud, TrakBoss is ready to bring his talents to the world stage.
