Transcending is the production name for James Brennan, based near Manchester in Northern England. His musical tastes are based around Electronic music as they have been for over 30 years, going back to early rave and jungle/hardcore as a teenager. Performing as a DJ under the moniker Decibel he warmed up for such hardcore legends as DJ Brisk and Slipmatt at events in the UK before life took over and music had to take a back seat. Following a hiatus of nearly 30 years he dusted off the DAW and started to produce uplifting trance with techno and rave influences. His philosophy is based around merging classic uplifting vibes with the older styles of dance music as a nod to his roots.
