Treasured Soul

Lehlohonolo Aubrey Koloba is a house DJ and producer
born and raised in Katlehong, east of Johannesburg.
Popularly known as Treasured Soul, he began his DJing
career in 2009. He names Black Coffee as one of his
biggest inspirations, and early on, was mentored by Lloyd K,
who saw his passion and love for music.
Treasured Soul has built a reputable brand and prides
himself in working with local artists. In 2014 he got a chance
to compose a masterpiece for Kwaito legend, Thebe. The
single titled, Watiza Meta, was featured on Thebe’s album,
The Legend, and boasts vocals by George from Kaya FM.
Treasured Soul then expanded his skill set by starting his
own record label called Oudio Drop Records. He has also
signed and managed up and coming artists, as someone
who believes in local talent.
In addition to managing artists, he also has talent for
creating his own masterpieces. In 2016 he released his first
single under his record label titled Khuphul’ Umsindo where
he collaborated with much sought after vocalist, Kruna. The
single made it onto one of Metro FM’s biggest shows,
Oskido I Believe, anchored by the legendary Oskido
himself. In addition to this, DJ Bobstar would take a liking to
and endorse the single.
Doors would then open that led to the song being playlisted
on Kasie FM, as well as a live performance and interview on
Mzansi Insider on SABC 1.
Treasured Soul has been part of line-ups for both local,
international and corporate gigs
