Trees of Mint is Francesco Serra musical project. His research focuses on identifying performative practices aimed at extending the timbral qualities of the electric guitar and emphasizing the evocative potential of sound. In his works, in particular in the three albums released with his solo project Trees of Mint (Micro Meadow, Here I Stay, 2008; Trees of Mint, Trovarobato Parade, 2012; NW, Trovarobato, 2019), he has progressively deconstructed the songwriting through sound experimentation and investigated the possible contaminations between sound, gesture, space and image.
