I’ve always loved music. Even before I could play an instrument, I loved listening to piano music.
The first ever instrument I learned was the trumpet at the age of 10. Because of my selective mutism at the time, I found my voice in the instrument. I dedicated hours teaching myself all of the scales and found I was really good at learning things by ear.
Around the time I was 13, I found this old keyboard in my house. I started teaching myself how to play the piano. I fell in love with the instrument, and at the age of 16, started making cover songs for my friends. It wasn’t until the age of 20, however, that I made cover songs regularly.
Driven by the need to understand and process my own inner state, I started creating original music as an outlet. This music quickly turned into a way for me to process the traumatic events that happened to me. Now, many years later, and with over 50 songs, capturing the darker sides of life has become my passion.
