Hailing from Trenton, NJ, 24-year old rapper Trey Twizz didn’t put too much thought or effort into rapping at first. But after the tragic loss of his best friend, Kuyler, Trey decided to pursue music. He says, “I was inspired to start rapping after the death of my friend Kuyler. He always saw my potential and encouraged me to try and go further. After he died, I took it more seriously.” Influenced by rappers Lil Durk, PnB Rock, Lil Baby, and G Herbo.
Trey's collaborations with Toosii ("War") and Calboy ("Paid Now") led to industry co-signs from WorldStarHipHop, Fatboy SSE, PNB Rock, Lil Durk, and Lil Zay Osama.
In 2019, Trey released his popular single “Paid Now” ft. Calboy followed by “No Hesitation.” “Paid Now,” remained on Spotify’s ‘Off the Strength’ playlist for 6 straight weeks, while “No Hesita-tion” first gained buzz on SoundCloud, reaching Top 10 on SoundCloud’s “New & Hot” R&B Chart.
