Santa Cruz, CA's Trianna Feruza and the Heavy Hitters blend vintage funk, modern hip-hop, and soulful R&B. Rooted in their local scene, their debut album was recorded in Santa Cruz by Sungrown Studios and mixed by Almost Islanders Music. They fuse funk, R&B, neo-soul, and hip-hop for a fresh yet familiar vibe, led by a powerful female vocalist with funky grooves and meaningful lyrics.  

Trianna Feruza's diverse musical background, from Folk-World Music to her grandfather Solomon Feldthouse of Kaleidoscope, informs her artistry. Her influences range from Balkan jams to hip-hop, jazz, and flamenco, alongside artists like Christina Aguilera, Alicia Keys, John Prine, and Bill Withers. This eclectic foundation fuels their genre-bending sound.  

Their electrifying live shows are known for high energy and danceable rhythms. Trianna's vocals and the band's musicianship create an "epic" stage presence, inviting everyone to join their "funky fellowship". They've been on 2 tours so far and frequent local venues like The Crepe Place and The Shanty Shack. Their touring includes past shows at The Mint in LA , The BoomBoom Room in San Francisco and The High Dive in Seattle.
