Trigger Jo are another bunch of handsome lads from the Central Coast region of New South Wales making hazy midtempo indie rock. But don't let the premise fool you: their irreverent stage presence belies weighty lyrics laid upon a unique pastiche of britpop, hip hop and classic rock influence. Since 2018, Trigger Jo has been slowly building a repertoire of tight, yet progressive tunes, with two self-produced debut singles soon approaching. The first, 'Better You', hits all digital streaming platforms on September 23.
