Progressive jazz and prog rock outfit Trioscapes make post-bop, avant-garde, fusion, and heavy metal-infused instrumental music. Formed in Greensboro, North Carolina in 2011, the trio features saxophonist Walter Fancourt, bassist Dan Briggs, and drummer/electronic musician Matt Lynch. Citing such influences as <a href="spotify:artist:3Ao7NH7lRyQAeKQg2mlTcO">Mahavishnu Orchestra</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:7M1FPw29m5FbicYzS2xdpi">King Crimson</a>, Trioscapes released their debut album, Separate Realities, in 2012.
