Hey!!!! We’re TRIPOV, and this is our story.

We never set out to be a typical pop band. We started in Jakarta in 2020 — just three people with different influences and one instinct: to make music that felt real. Pop was our base, but we never stayed in one lane. R&B, lo-fi, folk — whatever moved us shaped our sound.

At first, we dropped singles without knowing where they’d land. Then “All Day All Night” unexpectedly blew up on TikTok. A song we made with zero expectations suddenly had a life of its own. That moment changed everything. It gave us a reason to dream bigger.

The success led to a collab with Agung Hapsah and eevnxx on a reimagined version, and that spark kept us going. We poured that momentum into our debut album, Honest Opinions — a genre-bending, heartfelt body of work we’re still proud of.

Then “So Easy” ended up in a film by Angga Sasongko — a milestone we never saw coming. And Round & Round earned an AMI nomination.

Now, we’re entering a new chapter.

We just released “MIA,” the first taste of our upcoming album Sugar Coating Inc. It’s a more playful, introspective, and emotionally layered TRIPOV — still experimenting, still evolving, but more sure of who we are and what we want to say.
