"She's a southern peach, born in Georgia. Not a trace of a southern drawl. On the California Coast, she built sandcastles, on a Colorado mountain she grew up tall." Twisted and Tangled lyrics
For Trisha Leone, it’s been a life of moving from one place to another. Most of her growing up years were spent in the Colorado Rockies where long winters and short summers meant lots of hard work and plenty of good times riding horses and skiing. By far her greatest accomplishment is being the mother of two sons.
Trisha's music comes from the heart. It’s a Sunday drive and a friendly conversation about time that has passed and the life lived in between. In 2009, she made the pilgrimage to Nashville to immerse herself in the rich musical environment of Tennessee. But the city didn’t hold her for long. These days she’s gone back to the country, this time on a family farm a few miles out of Fayetteville, Tennessee.
She has released three studio albums and a steady stream of digital singles. As a lifelong student of songwriting, she holds a Master Certificate of Songwriting from Berklee School of Music and has honed her craft in workshops with Darrell Scott, Mary Gauthier, and Minton Sparks among others.
Most days you can find her writing, gardening, walking in the woods, letting the dogs in and out, or playing music in the duo Travelin’ Kind with her long-time partner in love, life, and music, Mickey Sandora.
