Born and raised in Kempsey, on the east coast of Australia,Troy Kemp has recently “jumped the pond” and is excited to be starting a new chapter of his career in Nashville, Tennessee.
As one half of Australian, award winning, country duo McAlister Kemp and now as a solo artist, Troy has achieved recognition and accolade both locally and internationally, headlining some of the nations biggest music festivals and has remained a mainstay on Australian Country Radio and Television Charts over the past 10 years.
Establishing himself as a ‘sort after’ songwriter within the Aussie country music scene, in December 2018 Troy signed a publishing deal with Kobalt Music Publishing c/o Checked Label Services, Australia.
That deal has seen Troy secure many Major and Indie Label cuts within Australia and he hopes to continue that success writing for his own Solo project and other Artists in Music City.
