Born and raised in New Orleans,Louisiana ;Troy Summaz developed a love for rap at a young age stemming from often watching as older cousins recorded on cassette tapes and freestyled in his aunts house while smoking weed and hanging out with friends from the neighborhood.Recording his first song at just 12 over Lil Wayne’s “The block is hot” instrumental he would go on to battle rap throughout his high school years.
After being displaced by Hurricane Katrina he would return to the city after 2 years.
Troy signed to Venom Shocq music in 2012 after a chance meeting at his job in Oakwood Mall and released a mixtape with several of the labels artist called “The Loyalty Agreement “ but the label situation fell apart after a short stint leading him to be dropped from the label.
As of 2020 Troy Summaz began recording as an independent artist releasing a single “Count it up” with various other works in the works.
