True Believer

“Sometimes, you know, it's necessary to go backward in order to go forward. That's an analogy of life” and that’s the analogy of True Believer in 2023, the new look TRUE BELIEVER.

2022 saw the band strip back to a 3-piece (Founding member Gabe Gabriels [Vocals/Guitar], brother Luke Toomey [Guitar/Vocals] and Duane Jackson Bass] whilst releasing “Back to You” – a self produced single that saw a growth in song and meaning with a new personal approach. But It was in that journey of discovery that the band knew they had to look even further back to continue to move forward with their metallic hard rock sound.

Enter Sarah Lim (Keys & Vocals) [The Night Terrors, Myridian, Earth] & Aaron Fiocca (Drums) [ex-Dream on Dreamer], both heavily involved in True Believer’s musical past and now firmly entrenched in their future – the quintessential True Believer. Elements of eras past, but rocketing the sound through it’s own ensuing rebirth… a cacophony of thunderous drums, and melodic vocals layered over textures and keyboard melodies.
