Trü.ski the Transmitter

It should be duly noted that the producer, DJ and vocalist, artistically known as Trü.ski the Transmitter, is no stranger to the capricious ins and outs of the music industry. Since his contribution as an early pioneer of the Jacksonville, Florida Hip Hop scene, to his run as Southeast regional director of street promotions with the legendary publication The Source, the self-termed Brand new OG, has consistently found ways to make his presence felt and heard globally. Much like the transistor radio, for which he has a deep respect and appreciation; he tunes in, then receives and transmits an aural odyssey -and has been doing so since his formative years. By age 6 he had his first performance on guitar and was able to learn how to play the piano by ear. By the time he was in the third grade, he took to playing the saxophone and would tirelessly attempt to play along with John Coltrane’s ‘A Love Supreme’. He started DJ’ing at the age of 14, then formed his first rap group, while still in high school - which was subsequently signed to a boutique label. His signature sound and imprint, Flōt Therapy Music, is a brilliantly unique combination and expression of his roots and a future that encourages the listener to effortlessly stay aflōt.
