Lesotho born Tśimoloho Pearl Lekaota affectionately known as Tśimo, grew up in the Free State province in South Africa. Her love for music began at age 12, starting out as a songwriter long before it was discovered she could sing.
Having spent years finding a unique writing style and vocal approach to her music, she released her first project in 2021. "Ngiyahamba", naturally portrayed her musical influences, with elements of house music and afropop, while uniquely written in Sesotho and Xhosa as homeage to her love for Southern African and African languages as a whole.
She has continued to trail blaze her own path in the genres of Afrohouse, Afropop, and Afrobeat, with collaborations with producers across each genre , and from all over the world, proving that she is a powerhouse in her own right and a true artist who falls with ease into any genre she is challenged with.
