Tsunamiz is the alter ego of Bruno Sobral, a Portuguese musician and producer hailing from the South Bank of the Tagus River, just outside Lisbon. Raised in a humble working-class family, Tsunamiz developed a fearless and genre-defying approach to music, blending rock, punk, electronic beats, hip-hop, and global sounds into a raw and melodic signature style.
His diverse influences — from Nirvana and Daft Punk to hardcore, African, and Latin rhythms — converge into a sound that is both nostalgic and futuristic, experimental and accessible. Whether evoking the urgency of post-punk or the pulse of electro-pop, Tsunamiz crafts songs that hit hard and resonate deep.
Embracing the DIY ethos, Tsunamiz writes, records, and produces all his music independently. With seven studio albums released, multiple tracks featured in television series, and performances across Portugal, he has become a key figure in the Portuguese underground music scene.
